Erdoğan asserted that this support has contributed to turning Gaza into a tragic symbol of suffering, particularly for children and women.  He also lamented the irony of observing Ramadan, a month of spiritual reflection and fasting for Muslims, while witnessing what he called one of the gravest humanitarian crises in Gaza. In his address, Erdoğan called for introspection within the Muslim community, urging for self-criticism to address the ongoing plight of Palestinians. He emphasized Türkiye's commitment to speaking out for justice and truth, even if it entails discomfort.
